I am writing this letter in support of Mal Sandie, a candidate for Coronado Unified School District.
Mal graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and went on to serve as a helicopter pilot for the next 30 years. He also has done post graduate work in program management. Mal first came to Coronado in 1992. He has four boys, all of whom attended Coronado public schools when he was stationed here. His youngest is currently a senior at Coronado High.
Mal has done a superior job as a school board member. He is a champion for public education in general and Coronado public schools in particular. Of note is that he is not accepting donations for his campaign.
Please join me in voting for Mal Sandie for school board.
