Stop by the Fix-It Clinic at the Coronado Public Library on March 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers will not only try to fix your item, but will teach you how to as well. 8 Sunday: The Coronado Ferry landing is slated to host a free weekend concert from 2 to 5 p.m. featuring Hugh Gaskins & The Geoff Corey 5.

10 Tuesday: The John D. Spreckels Center is hosting “Line Dancing Through the Decades” on March 10 at 2 p.m. Instructors will lead easy line dances for participants to follow, and light refreshments will be provided. Register by March 6 at coronado.ca.us/civicrec, or call (619) 522-7343.

12 Thursday: The Coronado Public Library is scheduled to host a Community READ event featuring Phil Unitt from the San Diego Natural History Museum. Unitt will share the history and modern applications of the museum’s bird collection at 6 p.m. in the Winn Room.
