The Henry: The Henry is a Coronado staple, but for Valentine’s Day it is going all out and offering a three-course prix fixe menu experience with optional wine pairings. The menu is extensive featuring elevated starters like truffled brie toast or spicy tuna crispy rice, entrées ranging from braised short rib and Korean prime skirt steak to filet Oscar-style, and desserts such as molten butter cake or chocolate fudge pie, all complemented by Champagne and curated wine selections. It is $85 per person.
Chez Loma: Chez Loma is an elegant but beachy French restaurant, walking distance to downtown, offering Valentine’s Day pre fixe menu on Feb. 14. It features French classics, elegant mains like filet mignon or duck breast, and desserts including crème brûlée and chocolate mousse. The pre fixe menu costs $100 per person.
Stake Chophouse & Bar: Perfect for a romantic, cozy night by the fire, Stake Chophouse & Bar will offer a prix fixe menu on Feb. 14 featuring oyster on the half shell, ahi tuna and local lobster, along with a choice of filet or porterhouse cuts. Like Little Frenchie, diners can add a box of 6 or 12 roses for an extra romantic touch. The prix fixe menu is $165 per person. An optional “Love Story” wine pairing will be available at an additional cost.
Garage Buona Forcetta: This Italian dinner spot offers something special. Casual yet romantic, it’s the perfect place for a yummy precursor to a walk on the beach or a group galentines. The restaurant is offering a heart-shaped pizza featuring red ricotta and beet cream, fresh mozzarella, Italian spicy salami, cherry tomatoes, stracciata. Little Frenchie: A French-inspired restaurant that embellishes the night with charm. The bistro offers both morning brunch and date-night dinner, along with an extensive menu and wine list. For Valentine’s Day, Little Frenchie will offer a prix fixe menu, with the option to add roses or mignardise from Feb. 13–16. Six roses are $24, 12 roses are $42, and mignardise is $18.
