15 Saturday: The opening reception for the “Connecting Currents” art exhibit is scheduled for Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. in the Spreckels Reading Room at the Coronado Public Library. The exhibit is curated by the San Diego River Artists’ Alliance and runs through May 1.

17 Tuesday: The Coronado Junior Woman’s Club is hosting an annual wellness event for women featuring a calming sound bath, a dinner and local vendors on Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Generate Hope. Tickets are available at coronadojuniorwomans.org/events-and-programs.
