14 Sunday: The Coronado Ferry Landing is slated to host a free weekend concert from 1 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 14 featuring the Moonlight Serenade Orchestra.

17 Wednesday: The Coronado Public Library, in partnership with the Coronado Island Film Festival, presents Film Forum Coronado, taking place the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the library’s Winn Room. 

Film expert Ralph DeLauro provides a brief introduction to each film and leads a discussion afterwards, often including pointers about how lighting or camera angles contribute to a scene’s mood or propel the story. The featured film on Nov. 17 is “Alias Nick Beal.”

20 Saturday: The Coronado Public Library is scheduled to host its annual holiday sing-along on Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. Led by Crown City Chorale, a subset of Coronado’s Musica Vitale, participants are encouraged to bring their singing voices and holiday bells to the event. Cocoa and cookies will be provided by the Friends of the Coronado Public Library.
