25 Saturday: The San Diego Flute Guild will perform a fall member’s recital on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2:30 p.m. in the Winn Room of the Coronado Public Library. The recital will conclude with light refreshments.
26 Sunday: The Coronado Ferry Landing is slated to host a free weekend concert featuring “Captain Morgan Lee” from 1 to 4 p.m.
31 Friday: The Coronado Public Library’s autumn concert series takes place on Fridays from Sept. 5 to Oct. 31. Each concert will begin at 1 p.m. in the Winn Room. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the performance. On Oct. 31, Robert Wetzel will perform “Guitar Fantasy Through the Centuries.”
31 Friday: Community members can explore cooking with new spices each month with the Coronado Public Library’s “Spice it Up, Coronado!” event. On Oct. 31 at 2:30 p.m., the group will be sampling Khmeli Suneli. Register for the event at coronado.librarycalendar.com.
