Yes, Chihuahuas do enjoy a good handbag, and that is an image in many people’s minds, thanks to Paris Hilton and dozens of other celebrities (and the cinematic masterpiece Beverly Hills Chihuahua).
But in this new video from the account @toffee.applehead, we see a very different side of Chihuahuas.
The athletic, adventurous side.
Meet the Chihuahuas of the Chihuahua Hiking Club in Chess Valley, Chorleywood in the UK.
These little guys love to walk and explore bridges and rocks and just be in nature.
The video shows a few dozen Chihuahuas of all sizes and colors just loving a day outside with their humans and furry friends.
Some wear sweatshirts, but no handbags are in sight!

Chihuahuas are a rather popular dog breed in England. According to Pets4Homes.com, the petite breed ranks second in annual dog breed advertisements on Pets4Homes among 239 breeds and types.
Are Chihuahuas good walkers?
Though they are often seen being carried, yes, Chihuahuas are good walkers and need daily active exercise.
Now, just like people, some Chihuahuas may like walking more than others (some may really love being carried around in a Hermes Birkin bag instead).
Of course, because of their delicate frames, you do need to factor in the weather, if you will be walking your Chihuahua outside for a while.
In the video, you can see many of the Chihuahuas have on sweatshirts to keep their little bodies nice and warm.
The majority of them also have harnesses on, as they are better at protecting those tiny little tracheal rings.
