Some dogs have cute eyes. I mean, where do you think the phrase “puppy dog eyes” comes from? This American Bully has show-stopping, super-rare merle eyes that look straight out of a fantasy movie. People can’t even believe his mottled hazel eyes are real. They look photoshopped or like CGI.
Just check out how absolutely stunning this dog’s peepers are. We would spend all day gazing at him!
@ericaintexasHow do I tell my boss “sorry, my dog said I can’t” #dogsoftiktok #americanbully #xlbully
The video was shared to the TikTok account for @Ericaintexas, and everyone is stunned by the eyes of this American Bully.
One person said, “The most perfect face EVER!!! How do you get anything done with perfection pulling at you? Gorgeous!”
If you’re curious how eyes like these can even happen in a dog, Wag explains, “A variety of coat and iris colors in dogs are the result of the merle gene. A dilution gene, its presence can lighten the color of the dog’s coat, often creating a dappling effect as well as vary the eyes’ colored part (iris). When it comes to the eye, a variety of colors can be seen as a result of the merle gene, ranging from pale, light blue to green to amber. This same gene can also be responsible for developmental defects in the eye or eyes.”
I can’t get over how gorgeous his eyes are, and so many people feel the same. Another person responded, “STOP, this is the most gorgeous dog with the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen. I just love him. This isn’t even real.”
But nope, his eyes are real!
Here’s another clip of sweet Enzo the merle-eyed American Bully with proof!
@ericaintexasReplying to @Nunya Bizness #dogsoftiktok #americanbully #xlbully #heterochromia
Enzo’s mama explains that this sweet boy has heterochromia, and I am going to assume that he has central heterochromia, which means it creates a haloed appearance of the iris. In this condition, the iris will have multiple colors within it, with one color radiating from the pupil, mixing with the other eye color in a spiky pattern. Like sectoral heterochromia, central heterochromia can impact one or both eyes.
All we know is that we could gaze into Enzo’s beautiful eyes all day long!
