Tom Hardy appeared on the Venom: The Last Dance red carpet where his French Bulldog named Blue totally stole the spotlight from the 47-year-old actor. Camera were flashing, people were calling Hardy’s name, and it seemed like his main concern was paying attention to sweet Blue. And vice versa.
I just can’t deal with how adoringly Blue looks at his famous dad.

Just look at how sweet his pup is! He just keeps gazing up at dad the entire time.
This wasn’t the only time during the Venom: The Last Dance press junket we got to see Blue, because during an interview with BBC Radio 1’s Ali Plumb Blue demanded some affection from his handsome dad.
When Tom Hardy sits down to discuss Venom: The Last Dance with Plumb Hardy tells the little dog to be good and sit right by his side. During the interview we see glimpses of Blue until the little French Bulldog puts his paws on Hardy’s thighs and Hardy has no choice but to hold his precious pup in his lap.
I have yet to see this movie but according to Lainey Gossip, when discussing what the movie is about the author of the article states, “It is nominally a film about friendship, but it’s mostly about fan service and Tom Hardy’s love of dogs.”
I’m sold!

Tom Hardy’s love of dogs is so well known that Vanity Fair once wrote an entire article on Tom Hardy’s love of dogs.
In the article, which contains some great quotes and anecdotes about Hardy and dogs, Hardy is quoted as saying, “I don’t have any friends. I don’t keep them or entertain them for any of that kind of problem. So I like to keep [to] myself. I have a dog and a son. A dog couldn’t do anything to upset me, you know, and neither could my son.”
