Having just one dog in the house can mean that you have your hands full, but when we’re talking about multiple dogs, it can turn into the best kind of chaos. Of course, dog parents of multiples would never have it any other way — it’s such a special gift to be able to care for your pets, no matter how many you have, and they will always return that love to you tenfold. It’s one of the best things about being a dog person, if you ask me.
But that doesn’t mean that households with multiple dogs aren’t dealing with their own unique craziness, as we can see in the TikTok video below. In fact, the dog dad in this video has a whopping 18 dogs living under his roof, and this glimpse into their bedtime routine is just the best.

Recently, @thegoodhype shared what happens when it’s bedtime at their house, which resulted in some of the most adorable footage ever. Though two of their dogs, a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Siberian Husky, were hanging out with their dad when he decided it was time to pack it up for the night, it didn’t take long for the rest of the gang to join in.
As he ran through the house, more dogs joined the back, running behind him… and at one point, a goat even joined the group!
At the end, Dad jumps and lands in bed, and then we get to see how all 18 of these dogs managed to crowd into bed with him, snuggling up all around and on top of him. That must be one cozy bed!

As it turns out, 10 of the dogs are permanent residents of the household while eight of them are fosters. This family has made it their mission to rescue dogs who are up for being euthanized at overcrowded shelters, saving their lives in the process.
The Goodlin Siblings include Brookie, Bryndi, Britta and Brayden, and in 2022, when they only had eight dogs, they told The Mirror that they go through 240 pounds of raw meat along with four bags of kibble every month to keep everybody fed. Whoa!
“We don’t see our dogs as ‘dogs’. They are part of our family and we spend almost every minute of every day with them, they even sleep in our beds with us,” Brookie said.
This is an incredible mission that this family has taken on, and there’s no doubt that they’re making a difference in the lives of dogs who really need it… even if it does mean a little chaos around the house!
