The weekly Coronado Promenade Concert schedule has been unveiled for the summer, and the lineup will extend until Labor Day weekend in Spreckels Park.
“For our 54th season, we are exceptionally proud of the lineup we have for this summer as we bring a mix of some fan favorites-ABBAFab, a few returning bands from last year and some new bands delivering fresh and exciting sounds for our concert fans,” said Cathy Brown, the president of the Coronado Promenade Concerts board of directors.
Brown also announced that a drawing by Nicholas Hecker, a student in CoSA’s graphic design program and a junior at Coronado High School, was selected for the cover of the 2024 concert program.
Opening day on May 26 featured two bands, Coronado Concert Band and a band featuring former lead singer from the Mama’s & the Papa’s, Laurie Beebe Lewis and the Electric Underground.
Moving forward, the lineup includes Marine Band San Diego on June 9, The Dreamboats on June 23, The Suenamis on Father’s Day and then Nate Nathan and The MacDaddy-O’s will round out June before heading into Fourth of July festivities.
