A sweet cat is having a conversation with the birds outside the window, and it’s so precious that everyone should see it.
On April 29, TikTok user Hattie and Rue (@hattieandru) shared a video of their sweet cat holding an entire conversation with the bird outside the window. Take a look.

Rue, who has Twisted Leg Syndrome, is standing on the couch and looking outside the window, and he can’t stop chirping. Take a look!

Rue can’t keep her eyes off the bird that’s flying just outside the window. But the way Rue is chirping makes it seem like she’s talking to the bird as if it were her best friend and she’s giving the bird the rundown on what happened at the club last week, and less like she wants to capture the bird.
“Rue, talking to birds,” the video description reads. In the comments, people were clearly very smitten by Rue and her conversation skills.
“Love the chatters of cats watching birds,” one person wrote.
“She’s gorgeous,” another wrote.
“You are the cutest cat,” someone else declared.
“I love Rue. she’s such a doll,” wrote another.
“I just love Rue. She’s such a dollypooh,” one fan wrote.
“I haven’t seen Rue for a while. Love You Rue, talk away with the birds,” another shared, clearly hoping to see Rue again soon.

What is twisted leg syndrome?
According to American Pets Alive, twisted leg syndrome is a rare mutation in cats that causes the legs to twist, as they have for Rue.
“This is a congenital or hereditary trait the cat was born with. Radial Hypoplasia (RH) or Femoral Hypoplasia (FH) causes the bones of the leg to be shortened to varying degrees along with twisting due to abnormal growth,” the site explains. “It disrupts the
development of the toes, causing duplication of digits.”
American Pets Alive says the condition doesn’t necessarily hurt, which is good, but it can depend on your cat’s unique circumstances.
But with their legs, it’s important to keep a close eye on the health of the legs that are affected.
“Watch their legs carefully for any signs of sores and abrasions. If this occurs, protective covering
can be fashioned,” the experts suggest. “Although skin toughens up as a kitten becomes an adult, it’s best to keep up inspections.”
It’s also important to lift your cat down if they get into a high place, and having ramps with carpet may help make those places a little safer.
