There’s a reason that the cliché “fighting like cats and dogs” exists — they don’t always get along. Of course, cats and dogs who are raised in households together, especially from a young age, tend to get along a little better, but introducing a new cat and dog to each other can be a bit stressful. Not all of our pets are going to become best friends right from the jump, and it’s almost better if you expect to put some work in to help them along the way. But sometimes, they surprise us, and it’s like they’ve found their soulmate.

Pet mom Megan Cottone really did us all a favor sharing this adorable footage on Wednesday, May 8, showing off how sweetly her Beagle, whose name is Chloe, and her cat, whose name is Chlea, ride in the car together: holding hands, of course.
In the backseat, they are cuddled up in the same bed, and the Beagle has her paw on top of the cat’s paw. OMG!
Unsurprisingly, the vast amount on the comments on the video are all gushing about how cute these four-legged besties are. One person wrote, “This is the cutest, sweetest thing I’ve seen in a long time!” Couldn’t agree with them more!
Honestly, if someone in my life needed to be cheered up, this is absolutely the video. would send them. Try to watch it and not smile — it’s impossible.
The adventures of Chlea and Chloe
These two have been best friends since they met, and their relationship has been well documented by their mom on TikTok.
Judging by the videos she shared, Chlea and Chloe usually nap and sleep together at night, and as far as I can tell, they’re always cuddled up or at least touching paws, which is too cute for words. In this video, you can even hear Chlea purring as she rsts her head on top of Chloe’s — she loves her dog that much.
They also have more active adventures together, like when they went to the pumpkin patch and posed for some of the best pet photos ever. Are these two of the most photogenic pets in the world or what?
And we can’t forget playing in the backyard, where Chlea was chirping at birds and Chloe was just happy to be out there with her pal.
Fingers crossed that Chlea and Chloe have plenty of new adventures ahead of them and that their mom continues to share them all with us.
