As a toddler mom, I am well versed in the show Bluey — an animated series on Disney Channel and Disney+ about a family of Blue Heelers and their precocious children, Bluey and Bingo. A lot of people say that Bluey is really more of a show for parents that kids can also enjoy, and after seeing each episode no less than 10 times, I have to agree… I’m learning lessons while I’m watching it with my daughter, too. Not to mention the fact that it’s also very entertaining, with plenty of colorful imagery and fun music.

And I suspect that all those colors and excitement happening on screen are exactly why this little duckling on TikTok adores Bluey, even though she might not truly understand what she’s watching!

On Sunday, April 14, @foreverlandfarm shared this footage of an adorable duckling parked in front of an iPad that’s playing an episode of Bluey as she chows down on a bowl of fruit (looks like strawberries and pineapples — she has good taste!).

“Our little duckling cannot walk due to her disability, so we find ways to help make life enjoyable for her. She really likes watching Bluey and eating snacks,” her mom explained in the video, jokingly wondering if this makes her an “iPad mom” in her caption.

She seems perfectly happy, enjoying her snow and some food. Who could deprive her of that?!

In the comments, viewers gushed over how adorable she is… and fortunately, no mom-shamers came by to tell her that she shouldn’t be giving her little one so much screen time, which can happen a lot on platforms like TikTok!

More about this sweet duckling

This duckling’s journey so far has been documented on TikTok, including more information about what happened that left her unable to walk in the first place.

In an earlier video, her mom explained that she was “shipped in the mail at a day old not fully developed and at risk of getting trampled because you can’t walk.” Now, she’s living in their sanctuary with people who love her and are getting her the care she needs.

Since then, they’ve shared videos of all her adventures, from swimming in the bath tub to hanging out in a unicorn shaped kiddie pool in the sunshine. This little lady is living it up!

In a comment on the Bluey video, the duckling’s mom revealed that she’ll be getting a wheelchair soon, so before long, she’ll be able to explore. I’m definitely going to need to see the footage of that!
