Sitting at a table, on a chair like a person, Tucker’s eyes are laser-focused on something behind the camera.
As the second passes, you can see him thinking with his eyes whether he will get to eat whatever is being made in the kitchen.
He starts to whine and whimper, getting antsy over what is being prepared in the kitchen.
But it’s Tucker’s last-ditch effort to get attention when he starts stomping his two front paws on the table while still seated in the chair.
“When Tucker wants my dinner,” the video’s caption read. And in the comment section, people loved this cute dog’s reaction too.
“I love when my little diva sasses me/guilts me into sharing,” one person wrote.
“That poor baby just wants some nummies,” someone else shared.
“Tucker is completely adorable,” shared another.
“My gosh, they are all the same,” another viewer wrote.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel personality
According to the American Kennel Club, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are described as being “affectionate,” “gentle,” and “graceful.”
The organization explains, “Cavaliers are the best of two worlds, combining the gentle attentiveness of a toy breed with the verve and athleticism of a sporting spaniel. The Cavalier’s all-around beauty, regal grace, and even temper mark him as one of dogdom’s noblemen.”
These sweet, small dogs are great for kids and they get along well with other dogs, too. They’re also super adaptable to many lifestyles, doing “equally well with active owners and homebodies they can be upbeat athletes or shameless couch potatoes, depending on an owner’s lifestyle.”
The American Kennel Club explains these pups are “one of the friendliest breeds, showering affection on their family and happily getting along with other dogs, kids, cats, and total strangers. In fact, strangers are friends they haven’t met yet.”
Because of their sweet, kind personalities, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are often used as therapy dogs, which is something they naturally excel in.
The Canadian Kennel Club describes the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in a similar way, noting that these dogs are “gentle and affectionate” and are known as being the “comforter” or the “spaniel gentle” in the early years of history.
Adding, “Though playful and alert, the Cavalier is a born lapdog whose exercise requirements are easily satisfied. It is relatively quiet and calm-natured.”
