There are many ways to exercise our animals. We can take them for a walk, a run, or even a swim. However, it’s not every day you see goats out on a stroll pulling a man on rollerblades, and it’s pretty amazing!
This is one of those times when we should not try this at home. Not only do the animals have to be well-behaved, but the humans must also possess some serious balance and strength.
Look at this video from March 3 to see this unique form of exercise.

Talk about multitasking! This is impressive. Not only are @mylittlehikinggoats taking their German Shepherd for a run, but they are also exercising their two goats. Mom is carrying a feed bucket to entice the goats to follow. Meanwhile, Dad is on rollerblades holding their leashes, being pulled along at a notable rate of speed. I don’t know who came up with this idea, but it took some bravery and skill to execute. Although this looks like a lot of fun, the uneven ground could have ended this game quickly if not for good core, strength, and balance.

How fast can goats run?
World Wildlife Park reports that Pygmy goats can run up to 10 miles an hour, whereas mountain goats can reach a speed of 35 miles an hour. They tell us these miniature goats are known for their mischievous personalities and love of jumping, exploring, and climbing trees. Their gentle and playful demeanor makes them good pets when it comes to being playmates for children. They often bond and enjoy spending time with their humans and other animals. Their compact size ranges from 50 to 90 pounds, and they live an average of 15 years.
This unique exercise style has people impressed. Viewer @Nellie responded, “My new answer when asked, where do you see yourself in five years?” Ha! That’s not a terrible future to envision. Viewer @Abigail remarked, “Lol, I broke my arm doing this with two dogs as a kid! You, sir, are a beast for taking on country roads with rollerblades! This activity is not for the weak. Viewer @MoonfryStables responded, “I need to teach mine to do this. I walk them on a leash, but this is the next level.” It sure is. Just ensure your health insurance is current in case this group activity doesn’t go as planned.
Although it appears exciting, this activity is more suitable for professionals. If you can’t resist, consider riding in a wagon while your goats learn to pull cargo. That way, you can have all the fun and have less risk of injury.
