The Coronado School of the Arts is launching a new digital art exhibit that will showcase more than 100 works of more than 30 students from the school’s Digital Arts Conservatory and from students from Coronado High School.
“PhotoGraphics” will feature a variety of work from students in both departments, including graphic designs, advertisements, menus, posters, abstract photography and photo wood blocks.
An opening reception will take place on Tuesday, March 12, 5:30-7 p.m. at the Nautilus Room in the Coronado Community Center. The event is free and refreshments will be provided.

As part of the school’s efforts to provide students with a professional education in digital arts, the CoSA Digital Arts Conservatory program offers students three or more hours of instruction daily, in one of six areas: classical and contemporary dance, digital arts, instrumental music, musical theater and drama, theatre production, design and management and visual art.
The program is supported by the CoSA Foundation, which raises about 25% of the school’s budget.
