Many dogs possess some awe-inspiring athletic abilities. Some excel at snowboarding, while others possess Olympic-level jumping skills. One Pit Bull can ride a skateboard to reach the park for some playtime with his pals.

There was only one complication en route: he almost took out a lady. Thankfully, this little daredevil could avoid a collision and reach his destination.

@onewheeldogGreyson gets exited going to the dog park

♬ Let’s Go (feat. Twista & Lil’ Jon) – Trick Daddy

Greyson is a total rockstar on his one-wheeled skateboard! He listens to his father’s commands when he’s asked to take a few steps back. Then, he hops up and balances himself with ease. Wow! He could give me lessons. He’s on hold for a moment before he gets rolling, but he doesn’t even wait for his father once he does. Once Dad catches up to him, he proposes they “Go to the dog park?” His increasing speed shows he’s excited because he takes off down the sidewalk, almost taking out a couple walking towards him and then an older woman walking along. Fortunately, they didn’t even seem upset by this dog on wheels. I know I’d be too amazed to be annoyed.

After steering around a corner, he finally reaches his destination; once he does, he jumps off his board, ready for some playtime with the other dogs. This happy guy just wants to have fun. Wow! Not only does this dog have impressive athletic abilities, but he also knows just where he’s going. That might be a blessing and a curse!

I wonder if he’s ever come across Chowder, the skateboarding Bulldog? They could have quite the epic playdate!

How to teach a dog to skateboard

Believe it or not, you can teach your own dog to ride a skateboard. According to The Wildest, it’s all a matter of getting them accustomed to standing and moving on the board. They suggest following these easy steps.

1. Make sure the pup is comfortable on the board. The first step is teaching them to stand on the board. Start by getting them to put one paw on it, and reward them with a treat. Then, you can progress to them having all fours on it. Always be sure the board is secure while training.

2. Get it moving! Go slowly with this step. Move the board a little bit with them standing on it and reward them, and then progress to longer durations.

3. Teach them to push it. This step might take a little more encouragement. But once you can get your dog to push the board on their own, give them a reward.

4. Work up to more speed and distance. The Wildest suggests having longer intervals in between rewarding them as they move along on the board.

5. Loosen it up. This should be done in stages. Gradually loosen the board to allow it to move back and forth, which will help them eventually learn how to steer it.

It might take some time, but your pup could potentially join the ranks of other skateboarding canines!
