Never underestimate the power of giving your pet real presents for the holidays. You might think it’s kind of weird; they don’t understand the concept of presents, right?
Wrong. Dogs and cats love surprises, too, and letting them unwrap their own presents is both a good source of enrichment and, simply, really fun. The paper, cardboard, and present inside are a great way to expose your pet to different textures – especially cats. Of course, there’s a good chance the cat will want to play with the box after and not whatever was in it.
Stockings are a great choice for inquisitive kitties with patience problems, too. They can be filled with toys and treats and taken apart quickly.
