The U.S. Navy honored several individuals during a pinning ceremony at the Silver Strand Training Complex in Coronado on Sept. 29.
They are part of Naval Special Warfare, the nation’s elite maritime special operations force that is positioned to extend the fleet’s reach and gain and maintain access for the Joint Force in competition and conflict, according to the Navy.
Among those honored were Chief Logistics Specialist Penny Adams, assigned to Naval Special Warfare Logistics Support Unit 1. She received her anchors during the ceremony.
