Coronado lost 28-27 to Crawford for its homecoming game, but the evening had plenty of feel-good moments as Julia Mineo and Luca Salata were selected queen and king, respectively.

Game highlights

Coronado (3-4) dropped a heartbreaker after winning two in a row.

Graham Bower rushed for 38 yards and had 86 yards receiving and also notched 15 tackles for the Islanders, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. Trey Arnold, meanwhile, threw for 185 yards and a touchdown.
