Nikky T grew up loving to perform in competitions and talent shows, and the singer and songwriter now is co-owner of The Purp Studio in Los Angeles, a place for musical artists to “indulge their passions.”
Nikky T, formerly Nicole Thompson, graduated from Coronado High School in 2017. She said her time on the island developed a love for the tight-knit community.
With her dad residing in Coronado, she was able to benefit from the frequent interactions that come from knowing a lot of people and being involved in the community, she said.
Nikky T, who says she is half-British and half-Swedish, is currently living in Los Angeles.
She works on her singing and attending her own giggs while co-owning a music studio that specializes in vocal production, music production, engineering, mixing and mastering, and songwriting.
Nikky T has been able to chase her dreams of being a performer by learning from her mistakes and never being afraid to fail, she said.
