Just like with humans, animals can become sick or injured and be unable to take care of themselves. Luckily, there are dedicated and compassionate people helping these animals continue to live full lives.
Meet Moko, a disabled rescue sheep that lives at Ziggy’s Refuge, a farm animal sanctuary in North Carolina. They recently shared a video on their TikTok, @ziggysrefuge, that shows what a day in Moko’s life is like, and it’s just perfect!

Oh my goodness, Moko is just the sweetest animal we’ve ever seen. Every day, he gets bathed and moisturized with a full body massage, plenty of hugs and kisses, water therapy treatments, and endless love and compassion. Moko deserves the world, and he gets just that from his caretakers!
Moko was rescued from a meat farm along with his sister, Jumbie, in 2018. Prior to their rescue, they both suffered frostbite and lost the tips of their ears, and Moko lost his back feet as well. According to Moko’s parents, the farmer allowed these siblings to live due to Moko’s disability that had rendered him immobile. Since his rescue, however, Moko has been living a peaceful life under the care of his mom and dad, who provide him with around-the-clock, top-notch assistance.
People in the comments have endless praise and admiration for Moko’s parents. TikTok user @orgasmicorgone said, “I’m sobbing. You people are real world angels. People like you are the reason it’s not so bleak.” Another person, @kathyrogers1018, commented, “He’s so precious.
