Spring sports are officially underway for the Coronado High School Islanders, as boys’ lacrosse, tennis, and girls’ softball and beach volleyball each start their seasons this week. 

18 Wednesday:

CHS girls’ beach volleyball gets the week started for the Islanders with a home match against Mar Vista. The game starts at 3:30 p.m. 

Boys’ lacrosse opens its season with a road game against Carlsbad High School. Games start at 5:30 and 7 p.m., with varsity playing second. 

19 Thursday: 

Islanders boys’ tennis starts its season at Bonita Vista. Matches start at 4 p.m. 

20 Friday: 

The CHS varsity girls’ softball debut is a road game against Mater Dei. First pitch is at 3:30 p.m. 

Boys’ lacrosse plays its second game of the week, on the road again, this time at San Marcos High School. Games start at 5 and 7 p.m.
