Coming off the holiday break, winter sports will be back in full swing this week for Coronado High. Most notably, the boys’ basketball and soccer teams play two games this week.
6 Tuesday:
Islanders girls’ soccer opens the week with a match at home against Eastlake. JV starts at 4, varsity follows at 6 p.m.
Boys’ basketball plays their first of two home games this week. The Islanders are hosting La Jolla Country Day. JV tips off at 5, varsity at 6:30.
7 Wednesday:
CHS boys’ soccer hits the road for a game against Clairemont. JV plays at 4, varsity at 6 p.m.
9 Friday:
Boys’ soccer plays their second road game of the week, this time against Santana. JV game starts at 5:30, varsity follows at 7 p.m.
CHS girls’ basketball play their first game back from break against High Tech High. JV is on the road and plays at 4. Varsity is at home, tipping off at 6 p.m.
Islander boys’ basketball closes the school week out with a game against Patrick Henry. JV is on the road and starts at 5:45. Varsity is at home for a 7:30 tip.
10 Saturday:
Girls’ water polo is competing in the Spartan Invite. Game time and venue TBD.
