Yet another busy week for CHS sports as we head toward Christmas break. It’s especially busy for the girls’ basketball team, gearing up for four games in a six-day span.
13 Saturday:
Varsity cheer is competing in the San Diego Schools CIF tournament at Carlsbad High School. The tournament starts at 9 a.m.
Varsity girls’ basketball is headed to the East Valley Community Center to play against Classical Academy. The game starts at 2:30 p.m.
16 Tuesday:
The girls’ soccer teams are at home for a game against Otay Ranch. JV starts at 4, varsity follows at 6 p.m.
Girls’ basketball is on the road again to play Canyon Crest Academy. JV tips at 4:30, varsity at 6 p.m.
Boys’ basketball is at home facing Montgomery High. Games are at 5 and 6:30 p.m.
17 Wednesday:
The CHS girls’ basketball team is on the road for a fourth consecutive game, this time against Mar Vista. Games tip at 4 and 5:30 p.m.
Boys’ soccer plays their third consecutive home game. JV and varsity will be playing West Hills at 4 and 6 p.m.
18 Thursday:
Girls’ soccer plays for the second time this week, against Classical Academy at home. Games start at 4 and 6 p.m.
Girl’s basketball plays a third game in as many days, this time at home for a matchup against Patrick Henry. Games tip off at 4:30 and 6 p.m.
19 Friday:
The boys’ soccer team plays its last game before Christmas break at home against Mission Vista. Games are at 4 and 6 p.m.
Boys’ basketball closes out the semester for CHS with a home game against West Hills. JV starts at 5:30, varsity at 7 p.m.
