Dog shows might be a bit more popular, but let’s not forget that canines aren’t the only animals who can be shown! Livestock shows are also a thing, and yes, they are just as adorable — especially if you love goats as much as the five year old boy in the video below does.

This little boy, whose name is Milo Garza, is melting hearts everywhere after a video of his reaction to his goat winning a yellow ribbon went viral this week.

@nbcnewsMilo, a five-year-old boy who stepped in last minute for his older brother at a #goat show in Texas, hugs and kisses his goat, Teddy Bear, after winning fourth place. @nbcnightlynews anchor Tom Llamas speaks with Milo and his mom about the adorable moment.

Shared by the official NBC News TikTok account on Tuesday, Aug. 12, the video introduces us to Milo, who filled in for his big brother to show the goat (whose name is Teddy Bear) in Texas and ended up winning fourth place.

At first, he stares at his ribbon in disbelief before he leans down to give Teddy Bear a big hug and showering him with kisses. Milo is so proud, and there’s no doubt that his goat is feeling all the love!

When he was asked about his favorite thing about Teddy Bear in the interview with NBC, he kept his reply simple: “His legs. They’re fat.”

His mom, Elizabeth Garza, had a bit more to say while she was talking to the reporters, though — and she sounds just as proud of Milo as he is of Teddy Bear.

“It was a raw emotion,” she said. “It was something totally, totally unexpected. Milo is a goat lover. He goes outside and he’s constantly kissing the goats, loving on the goats, hugging them and they’re pets to him and he can’t get enough of them.”

The video was originally captured by Laechelin Farms on Instagram, who got to witness Milo’s joyful reaction firsthand.

“I captured this moment at a goat and lamb show,” they wrote. “This boy brought smiles and laughter to everyone in the crowd with his excitement for placing 4th in his class.”

Way to go, Milo! It’s so special to see his love for his goat in what had to have been a proud moment for him and his family. Nice work, Teddy Bear!
