Fans are thrilled with the prospect of Gaga adopting a new pup, and one person commented, “What a precious baby! We need a name for this baby! ” Someone else said, “We all know how much Mother loves her French Bulldogs!”
Gaga has been a dog mom to other French bulldogs. She’s also the pet parent of an all-black French Bulldog named Miss Asia, a fawn-colored Frenchie named Koji, and a white pup with black spots named Gustav.
Two of Gaga’s fur babies were stolen in 2021
Enews explains that Gaga made this statement at the time of the crime, when when her friend and dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was shot when robbers stole two of the singer’s beloved dogs, Koji and Gustav.
“My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken in Hollywood two nights ago,” Gaga shared in a statement at the time, offering a $500,000 reward for the animals’ safe return. “My heart is sick and I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness.”
The pups were returned two days later but Fisher spent months in the hospital recovering from his injuries due to being beaten, strangled and shot during the dog napping.
During the case, Fischer gave a statement which he later posted on Instagram, saying, “I suddenly found myself fighting with everything I had to protect those dogs from being stolen. But it wasn’t enough: I was beaten, strangled, shot and left to die bleeding out on a sidewalk and gasping for my life. And Koji and Gustav were gone.”
In 2023, a judge ruled that gaga would not have to pay the reward money toJennifer McBride, one of the suspects in the 2021 incident that left Gaga’s dog walker wounded from a gunshot, had “unclean hands,” and that as a result McBride was “not entitled” to the reward money.
It’s so sweet to see Gaga adding to her family!
