Cows on Berchida Beach
Twice a year, these cows, known as Mucca’s in Italian, take over this pristine location. They are the herds of local farmers, often seen grazing on grasses around the beach. Apparently, they need a holiday, just like us! Few things are more beautiful than this, with the white, sparkling sand and the crystal-clear blue water. No wonder these cows have one vacation here, too! Can you imagine sunning yourself alongside these giant creatures in absolute paradise? I can’t think of a better trip. If you visit when the cows are not there, you can still expect to see native wildlife, such as flamingos and herons.
This beachside wonder in east Sardinia also holds a coveted Green Flag award for cleanliness and beauty. Pediatricians give this award, which can help concerned parents make the best choices for their children. And cows! I could stay there for a month!

I think they should compete.” They are truly spectacular and could easily win. Viewer @apurvarai_ responded, “I pray all animals get to live peacefully like them.” All animals and children should have an opportunity like this.
There is much to be learned from these majestic creatures. Spending a few days relaxing in the sun is the perfect way to recharge our batteries. Life is short; we should make the most of it.
