The eighth season of the Coronado Island Film Festival, celebrating the power of cinema and showcasing a solid lineup of films, is kicking off with the opening of badge sales on Monday, July 10.

The annual festival, held over five days from Nov. 8 to 12, is a must-attend event packed with engagements, according to organizers.

Not only will the film festival premiere screenings, panels, parties and the Leonard Maltin Industry Tribute Awards Gala at Loews Coronado Bay Resort, but it is also an amazing networking opportunity for professionals in the entertainment industry, organizers said.

Attendees can mingle with industry leaders including Festival Host and Honorary Jury President Leonard Maltin.

The Industry Tribute Awards Gala will honor emerging talent, cultural icons, humanitarians and legendary actors.

In past years, red carpet films such as “Women Talking” and “Jojo Rabbit” have gone on to win Academy Awards.
